Introduction to the Fiqh of Worship

Service Description

This introductory level Fiqh course will focus on the core principles and rulings pertaining to the Fiqh of Worship. Over a period of twelve weeks, we will cover the chapters of Purification, Menstruation, Prayer and Funeral. The course will be taught in accordance to the Hanafi School of Fiqh No prior knowledge of Islamic theology is required. Week One - Introductory Remarks/ What is Fiqh and Why Study Fiqh Week Two - Fiqh Terminology Week Three - Ghusl/Ritual Bath Week Four - Wushu/Ritual Ablution Week Five - Tayammum/Dry Ablution & Masah/Wiping Over Footgear Week Six - Menstruation/Post Natal Bleeding/Irregular Bleeding Week Seven - Intro to Salah/Prayer Times Week Eight - Conditions & Integrals Week Nine - Mandatory/Sunnah//Disliked Acts Week Ten - Invalidators & Prostration of Forgetfulness Week Eleven - Prayer of Traveller & Sick Person Week Twelve - Funeral Bath/Shrouding/Prayer
