Ramadhan is a time of spiritual renewal, reflection, and self-discipline. It is a month in which Muslims are called to deepen their connection with Allah through fasting, prayer and worship. To truly benefit from the blessings of Ramadhan, one must approach it with both knowledge and intentionality. The Qur’an, guides us in all aspects of life, including how to prepare for this sacred month.This six-week course is designed to equip Muslims with the essential tools for preparing for Ramadhan. It combines the foundational fiqh (jurisprudence) of fasting along with practical guidance for spiritual reflection and growth. Students will not only learn the rules and regulations of Ramadan but also how to prepare their hearts and minds for the transformative power of the sacred month. 🤲

About the Instructor

Mufti Hammad Jogiat was born and raised in Cambridge, Ontario. His journey into Islamic studies began at an early age when he memorized the Quran by age 14. He spent 3 years pursuing Islamic studies at Darul Uloom Blackburn in the United Kingdom, after which he transferred to South Africa where he completed a 6-year Alimiyyah program at Darul Uloom Azaadville. He then pursued a 2-year Takhassus Fil Ifta/Fiqh at Darul Ifta Mahmudiyyah. During this period, Mufti Hammad earned a master's diploma in Islamic Finance, showcasing his commitment to bridging traditional knowledge with contemporary financial practices

Mufti Hammad currently serves as an Imam, speaker, teacher, and counsellor at the Cambridge Muslim Society, a speaker/instructor at Wijhah Initiative, and a Shariah Advisor for multiple Islamic Financial institutions.
